Join James and Club 4×4 for an awesome Trip through the Victorian High Country doing some difficult and technical tracks.

Location and/or Description of Trip (Itinerary):

The plan:
Friday night.....dinner at the Delatite pub, Mansfield followed by a NIGHT RUN into camp which will be at the Upper Jamison hut. The entry to camp is via a tricky river crossing, so please make sure that you have a snorkle.

Saturday:
A bunch of tracks inc Son of a Bitch Track and Nobs Track, then camp at Rumpffs Flat Campground

Sunday:
bunch of track inc MacMillan spur, mountain ash track, mount McDonald track. We'll also check out Chester's hut, exit HC via nobs track, brooks road sheepyard flat, Mansfield and home.

Most of the tracks are on YouTube so you'll be able to check em out and figure out if this trip is for you

Tracks will be technical, steep and possibly muddy (if there has been rain) so expect to winch and rock hop

Possible routes to start are.... via Hume hwy/Broadford or tallarook exits / Yea and on to Mansfield or you can go in via Yarra Glen / Melba hwy / Yea and on to mansfield

Friday night pub feed..... pls advise who is coming so I can book a table 1900hrs

You'll need fuel, water and food for 3 days. there will be NO Access to fuel once we are on the tracks.

Last fuel is MANSFIELD on the Friday night when you are inbound to campground

Please make sure your vehicle is in good working order.
recovery gear, UHF and a working winch is a must for my trips. mud terrain or all terrain tyres only. don't be turning up in ya fancy black top tyres.
