FWDV 50th Anniversary Weekend – 17th – 19th Oct 2025


Come along with Club 4×4 to Celebrate 4WD Victoria’s 50th Birthday with an awesome Event at McCormack Park, 65 McCormacks Road, Merrijig. There will be bands, food trucks and lots of 4wd Clubs there to celebrate 4WD Victoria’s 50 years of organising and advocating for our wonderful past time.

Event Registration/Payments are through 4WD Victoria (Event registration – Four Wheel Drive Victoria – revolutioniseSPORT [1]) but we encourage Club 4×4 Members to also book on our website so that we know who is coming along.

Please make sure that when you book with 4WD Victoria that you put “Club 4×4” in the Club Field so that they can endeavour to keep us all together.

4WD Victoria are holding their 50th Anniversary Event this year in October.

Bookings are done through 4WD Victoria. Please mention that you are a Member of "Club 4x4" in the booking form and they will attempt to put us all together.

Where is the event:

McCormack Park, 65 McCormacks Road

The park is located just 15 minutes past Mansfield

Tickets and Prices:

1. Day pass only $25 per person (9am to 10pm)

2. Weekend Pass $100, which covers a camp site Friday to Sunday (maximum of two adults and unlimited kids)

3. Children – 17 years and under are free
Live music and entertainment

Vehicle Access:

Easy access for all types of vehicles.

Accommodation:

Camping available on-site, when booking please advise type of camp set up and length of van

· Toilets available on-site

· Lots of other accommodation available in the local area

· No showers available

Access times:
Gates will open at 12 noon on Friday 17th October and closing time will be at 12 noon on Sunday 19th October 2025

Food and beverage:
Food and beverage trucks will be available on-site.

· yes, you are welcome to BYO food as well.

Family friendly:
Yes, everyone is welcome and we are making this a family friendly event with activities available for the kids.

Disability access:
Yes, there will be disability access with a disabled toilet available.

Who will be welcome:
This event is open to everyone and therefore you are not required to be a member of one of our affiliated four-wheel drive clubs.

Dogs:
Yes, dogs are welcome and are to be kept under control at all times on lead or enclosed area at your camp. Please remember that you are in a rural area and there is livestock in nearby paddocks.

Other animals: Please contact us if you are intending on bringing along animals apart from dogs.

Smoking/Vape:
Please note that the precinct area will be a no smoking area, you may smoke in other areas being respectful of others.

Fires:
Yes, must be in an above ground contained fire pit.

· Wood will be available for sale on-site

· Otherwise, please BYO wood

Rubbish:
Whilst a skip bin will be available we encourage everyone to take all of your rubbish home and ensure that all areas are kept clean. The local CFA will be collecting our cans and bottles that are part of the deposit scheme

Generators:
Yes, you may bring along your generator but please ensure that you are mindful of those around you. Please ensure that you do not run outside of 8am to 8pm times.

Power:
There are a few campsites that will be available with power for medical issues only.

Alcohol:
We have a number of wonderful local businesses setting up pop up bars and will have a variety of alcohol available for purchase.
· Yes, you may BYO alcohol, please note that this is to be consumed at your camp site and not within the general precinct

Drinking water:

Available via taps.

Cash and card:
Feel free to bring along some cash and cards for the stalls and raffles over the weekend.

Dump point:
Nearest dump point is located in Mansfield behind the Tourist Information Centre.

Leaving the event site:
Yes, you are more than welcome to leave the event to explore the local area, please ensure that you keep your wristband.

Volunteering:
Yes, if you would like to volunteer please let the team know.

Inclement Weather:
Yes, event will still be proceeding if it is raining.

All emergency procedures will be set into place in the case of a flood or bushfire in the local area.

Drugs:
No illegal drugs on-site
