Mining in the Mountains – May 2016

Join Chris and Club 4×4 for a weekend exploring the tracks around the Chromite Mine. Chromite Mine is located east of Licola in the Victorian High Country.

Camping near Licola on Friday night and driving into the old Chromite Mine site on Saturday morning. Saturday will be a shorter day of driving as we’ll be arriving around lunch time at the camp site. A possible side trip down Chromite Mine Track to the start of B1 Track depending on conditions. Sunday we’ll drive out Mt Margaret Track and finish on Burgoyne Track.

Monthly Meeting (Mechanical Checks) – 21st March 2016

At this month’s meeting we will be going through a few Basic Mechanical Checks you can do yourself to keep your rig running. This is especially important if you are doing lots of 4WD’ing or long distance touring.
