August Club Meeting – Mon 17th August 2026
Our next Monthly meeting is Monday 17th August at 7pm, Members, Prospective Members and Visitors are all welcome. If you are looking at joining a 4WD Club attending a meeting is a great place to start.
Feel free to get there early (6:15pm onwards) for a meal or a beveridge. We meet in the Function Room which has the bar open to order food and drinks, and the meals at the GBRSL are always a win!!
We will go through our previous trips and our upcoming trips which have slowed down a little during the colder months, but this is quite normal.
We look forward to catching up with you all at the meeting. If anyone has a certain topic they wish to discuss, please do not hesitate to contact myself or any of the Committee Members.
Grand Final Escape (Big Desert/Border Track) – 24th to 27th Sept 2026

Fraser Island Adventure – Take 2 – 31st May to 6th June 2027
Join Vince and Club 4×4 for an awesome trip to Fraser Island, base camping at Cathedrals for 6 nights so that we can spend the time exploring and relaxing.
This trip booking is to gather an “Expression of Interest”. More details will be provided to interested parties once we have a few bookings. We will process this quickly as we have to make sure that we get campsite bookings for the week.

Join Mat, Linda and Club4x4 for a day exploring the tracks and tackling the hills at Mount Disappointment State Forest.
This is a day trip rated Medium and we can step it up based on the size of the group to some Difficult tracks if all are comfortable. This trip is perfect to those new to the club or existing members wanting to test their rigs.
OZD in Nunniong and Beyond – 23rd to 26th Jan 2026
Join Jose and Club 4×4 on the whatever-you-want-to-call-it-Day long weekend for a classic Club Trip from the Great Alpine Road through the Nunniong State Forest and beyond. This is a surprisingly little-visited area, to the point that if you Google “Nunniong SF” several of the top hits are the club trips led by El Presidente! So don’t stay in the dark any longer and join the discoverers’ club.
This is intended to be a “slow does it” trip avoiding the harder tracks that we have enjoyed in previous years, especially as the tracks are expected to be dry. Jose will be leading in his truck and there is a chance some extra track-clearing may be necessary. Bring “Passenger Patience” with you. The trip is suitable for less-experienced drivers.
