| Location and/or Description of Trip (Itinerary): | Join me for a tour of the huts around Mt Stirling, including: -Tomahawk Hut The number of huts visited, route taken and camping locations will be largely dependent on the track and weather conditions. We will be camping in the bush at different spots each night, likely with no facilities. Walking (dare I say it!) is required to see some of the huts, in particular Ritchie's Hut, which is a 12km (3hr 30min) return trip (but well worth it). I intend to do this on the last morning, and those who do not want to come can stay at camp and prepare lunch! Bring your camera! |
