| Location and/or Description of Trip (Itinerary): | Come and explore the tracks in the Goulburn State Forest between Jamieson and the Howqua Hills. Staying at Granny's Flat on Friday night, we will then take in some tracks like Mount Sunday Track, Son of a Bitch track and Grimme Creek Track on Saturday, with Saturday night spent at Upper Jamieson Hut. Sunday will be following the Jamieson and then Howqua Rivers all the way out to Running Creek Reserve and back into Mansfield for the trip conclusion. |

| Any specific requirements? | Recovery gear and rated recovery points as per the club rules. All terrain or mud tyres a must due to the steep and loose terrain as is a snorkel because of river crossings. There will be a number of river crossings and steep sections to deal with, so please be prepared. There will be facilities at Granny's Flat, but bush camping with no facilities at Upper Jamieson Hut. Please bring enough food, water, camping equipment and fuel for 2 full days of driving in the High Country. We are going into the High Country so please also check the weather and dress appropriately. Conditions can change quickly and summer in the High Country increases the risk of fire danger. I will keep people informed on conditions before we depart. The trip will be cancelled in the event of a Total Fire Ban. |
