Let's spend Easter travelling around Big Desert State Forest and Wyperfeld NP.

This will be a trip where we camp in the one spot for the Easter weekend and do day trips around Big Desert, followed by an adventure North for the rest of the week.

When you book just let me know if you are planning to come on the 2nd part...

Those who only come on the Big Desert part will finish the trip 10am on the 5th April, for those who have more time we'll finish on the 10th or 11th April.

Fri 2nd:
Follow the track from Lake Albacutya and off to Blue Gums (via Milmed Rock Tk). Note we will be bush camping all weekend, there are toilets at Big Billy Bore that can be used when we drive by.

Sat 3rd:
Explore the tracks south of Blue Gums campground and also have a play on some of the bigger dunes.

Sun 4th:
Head out east to some of the lesser knows tracks and have a drive around. There's a very short steep dune out there that we can have a play on if anyone is interested.

Mon 5th:
- Return to Melbourne, via the Silo Art Trail for those who are interested... The trip will finish at 10am once we are out of the park...

Tues 6th - Sun 11th:
For the 2nd part of the trip we will be heading North and maybe into South Australia up to the Danggali NP if things are looking ok to cross borders, if not we'll spend the time around the Murray Sunset NP and also swing back by Hattah - Kulkyne National Park.

This 2nd part of the trip is currently open as far as the planning is concerned and we will replenish food and water in Murrayville or Pinnaroo...

Yeh a few:

- Air compressor and tyre gauge
- MaxTrax or equivalent (not necessary, but if you have them bring them along)
- Shovel
- Enough fuel for 3 day’s sand driving (we'll only do about 350km for the trip but you need some to get there and back between fuel stops)
- Food and Drinking water for 3.5 days (there will be nowhere to replenish supplies)
- Front and Rear rated recovery points
- Snatch strap
- Tyre Repair kit
- All Terrain tyres with 50% tread or better
