Trip Rating: | Difficult |
Trip Planning: | This is an exploratory trip based on some local knowledge and/or online research of track conditions |
Maximum number of vehicles permitted: | 8 |
Any specific requirements? | Mud terrain tyres or aggressive All Terrain tyres a must as some of the tracks are slippery this time of year. A winch may be beneficial. All recovery equipment as per the trip rules. All camping equipment, food, water and fuel for 2 full days of driving in the bush. Remember, it’s the High Country, so weather can change quickly so pack for all seasons. There will be toilet facilities at both campsites. It’s a bit of a distance between fuel stops so ensure you have enough for the weekend. Best guess would be 400-500km if driving on the open road? |
