Crayfish and Beaches- 23rd – 25th August 2024

Join Jacko and Club 4×4 for a weekend of Crayfishing and some 4WDing…

This trip is loosely based around camping in 1 spot for the weekend and helping me catch Freshwater Crayfish for a Saturday night supper for everyone. However, there might be a chance for a short 4WD during the day on Saturday, checking out some of the other camping spots and beaches.

You are welcome to bring your own boat and Crayfish nets if you want, but you must have all the necessary licenses, registrations and safety equipment.

Any specific requirements?

I will be planning on getting to the campsite early Friday afternoon, but you are welcome to get there later in the evening after work or on Saturday morning. Just let me know.

Food, drinks and camping equipment for the weekend.
There are no toilet facilities at the campsite, so be prepared to dig a hole or 2.

If you plan on fishing, you will need a NSW fishing licence for the weekend.

To help prepare the crayfish after cooking, a pair of tin snips (or strong chicken scissors) would be beneficial.
