| Location and/or Description of Trip (Itinerary): | Setting up our base camp at Fergusons Camp on the Rocklands Reservoir we will do a couple day trips in the Grampians, exploring what tracks it has to offer. This is an area i have been to a lot just never got the chance to explore the tracks so it's going to be a bit of trial and error but we will make it work, some tracks might be fun, some might be a highway. Last fuel would probably be Dunkeld, if you have no long-range tank id suggest a couple of Jerrys at least that way you can put some more fuel in your car if you need to back at camp. Camp is Caravan and Camper friendly and also dog friendly, if you wish to bring a kayak, fishing rod etc feel free, you get the Idea. It is also a free camp no need to book. There may be drop toilets there too. |
