Depending where you live you may prefer to take the M8 or A300, past Ballarat and take the Sunraysia Hwy (B220). Follow the Sunraysia Hwy until you get to Lexton. Any specific requirements?

Bring food, water and clothing for the weekend. There may not be water on the campground, so bring extra for washing etc.
The two campground options have toilets.
Usual requirements as per trip rules for a difficult-rated overnight trip: full tank of fuel, all-terrain or mud tyres, UHF, recovery gear (winch not essential).
If the intended tracks are dry the trip will probably be medium/difficult. If they are wet they will become difficult or very difficult and we may have to change plans and restrict ourselves to the easier tracks.
