Hay River Simpson Crossing – 17th to 26th June 2025

Join Mark and Club 4×4 to explore the far remote sections of the North Simpson Desert via the Hay River Track, and hopefully the Madigan Line Camp 15 to Camp 23. This will be an amazing trip through some very remote parts of the Simpson Desert.

Booking Procedure:

For this trip the Club will be taking “Expression of Interest” bookings so that we can gauge how many people are interested in going on the trip. If you are interested put in a booking and Mark will organise a catchup early 2025 to chat about the Trip.

Mark has set a maximum of 8 vehicles for the Trip but we will allow more EOI bookings and sort out what happens if we have more than 8 vehicles interested in coming along.

Annual Camp – 21st – 23rd March 2025

The Committee is excited to announce that the Club 4×4 Annual Camp is on for 2025!

The Annual Camp is a family oriented weekend away with an aim to provide Current and Prospective Members with an opportunity to meet and socialise with other members that you might not otherwise see on 4WD Trips or at the Monthly Club Meetings.

Exploration around Cathedral Range and Rubicon – Sat 23rd Nov 2024

Join Ledri and Club 4×4 for a Trip starting from Marysville and winding through Cathedral Range State park then through to the Marysville State Forest.
The historic area includes a wooden trestle bridge along with the original power station built in the 1920s.
The trip will try to follow Trek#13 of the 4wd treks close to Melbourne. The trek distance is 70+kms on mostly dirt road. It should be easy in dry conditions for 4wd and Awd vehicles. Medium in wet conditions for 4wd only.

Club Xmas Party – Sun 1st Dec 2024

The Club will be holding our Xmas Party on Sunday 1st December at the Murrindindi Scenic Reserve.

It will be a great time with some awesome food and some games will also be organised. You can camp on the Friday/Saturday night as well (details in the trip notice).

Looking forward to seeing all Members and Prospective Members there.
