Dust off the utensils and pans, dig out the old recipes and come along and share the numerous dishes provided by the talented Chef’s among us.

The idea is to provide a dish to share which has been cooked onsite in any way you choose. That may be on your gas burner, a frying pan over the fire or the good old camp oven, it’s up to you.

We will be camping at the Murrindindi Scenic Reserve ($7/night) for a camp cooking session in the reserved area that we were to use for the 2023 Xmas Party.

The Trip runs from the Friday night to Sunday morning, however you are welcome to come up for a single night or just for the Saturday's cooking and eating.

Please book your camping on the day that you are arriving as camping is not reserved and it's easier to do it this way. We aim to camp in the large reserved area next to the Day Visitor Area (with permission from the Ranger's). In the event of a lot of rain in the week before we might need to use the regular campsites, these however are first come/first served and cannot be reserved.

There is normally a lot of food and so we will be staggering the delivery of food throughout the day from 12pm to about 8pm. Erin will be collating a list of those cooking and a rough schedule so that all of the food does not come out all at once. Once you know what you would like to cook please contact Erin.

The campsite is 2WD accessible so a 4WD is not required. It is also Caravan and Camper Trailer accessible.
