Any specific requirements? | All requirements for difficult rated trips per trip rules. You will need to be self sufficient for 5 days in the mountains, including fuel, food and liquid. Recovery gear is a must. We will have planned fuel stops, but as it is the Christmas break, plan for fuel stop closures. Have recovery gear, mud terrain or aggressive all terrain tyres. Winches preferable, but not compulsory. Not for beginners or camper trailers. Camping will be remote. Expect long days driving. We will likely be doing driving through the day and camping in different places each night although as the itinerary is not fixed, we may find a nice spot to stop for a few days. If any day on the trip is designated CODE RED by the CFA, the trip will be cancelled or re-routed. |
