Location and/or Description of Trip (Itinerary): | Making the most of the Easter long weekend by exploring the far east of the high country. This trip will use some of the routes provided in FWDV 'Snowy River' and 'Davies Plain' Iconic Dirves (http://www.fwdvictoria.org.au/iconic4wd/overview.html). From Omeo we head north via Bowen Tk to McKillop Bridge. Then via Limestone Rd to joing the Davies Plain Tk. Once we reach Tom Groggin Station we will decide how to get out. Either north to Corryong, west to Bright or back south. Hopefully leave via Mt Pinnibar summit - 1,727m above sea level! |

Any specific requirements? | All vehicle requirements per trip rules for difficult trips. Have recovery gear, high clearance, mud terrain or aggressive all terrain tyres. Not for beginners. Be self sufficient with food water and fuel for 3 days in remote counrty. Camping will be remote. Expect long days driving. |
