| Location and/or Description of Trip (Itinerary): | We'll be doing this as an optional trip after the Cape York trip. Please only book on this trip if you're in the area (it's a 5 day drive to the start of the trip from Victoria) or have already booked on the Cape York trip. Old Coach Rd runs between Laura and Maytown through the center of the Palmer River Gold Fields. This is a Difficult/Very Difficult track due to the condition of the track and the fact that it's still quite remote. It's one of the hardest tracks on the Cape York Peninsula.
