Cobaw crawling

Cobaw Crawling – June 2017

Join Arron and Club 4×4 for a Queens Birthday expedition by taking on the challenges of the state forest in Cobaw crawling.  There are huge ruts, gnarly rockclimbs and articulation sections that will test the flex of even the most well setup vehicles.  This is a trip not for the faint of heart, but for those willing to test themselves and their vehicles to their limits.

Top Crossing Hut

Mt Disappointment night run Snow trip

Club 4×4 Snow trip (Falls Creek) – July 2017

Join Chris and Club 4×4 in group skiing/snowboarding fun on the snow trip to Falls Creek.  Whilst not essentially a 4wding trip, it is a chance for a group of like minded members to get together and spend a few days on the mountain at Falls Creek.  Staying in the fringes of Bright, we will drive up to Falls Creek and spend the day each day on the slopes before catching up again for a meal or two in the local restaurants/pubs.

Obviously there are varying levels of skiing/snowboarding ability and you are under no obligation to stick together whilst on the slopes, it is more a case of getting a group together to share stories of the mountain adventures.  Please refer to the trip notice below for further information regarding accommodation, car passes and lift passes.  Lessons are available for those new to skiing/snowboarding through the Falls Creek ski school.  Kids are more than welcome and daycare and kids programs are available on mountain.

This is the first time that we have run a trip like this and please be aware that personal insurances are recommended for on snow activities (skiing/snowboarding) as the club’s insurance does not cover injuries as a result of these types of activities.  All on snow activities are at the member’s own risk and the club nor trip leader are liable for any injuries incurred whilst on snow.

The Boys Weekend 2017 will be a camp out, near Woods Point. Join Brenton and Club 4×4 for a weekend of camping, laughs, big campfires and a little 4WDing. We may even see a little snow if it’s cold enough. An easy start at Tallarook

An easy start at Tallarook – July 2017

Join Arron and Club 4×4 in an easy start to Tallarook aimed at those new to 4wding or the club.  We will be taking on tracks and obstacles aimed at providing experience for the novice driver.  The idea is to start on easy tracks and then progress through the day to more harder tracks, gaining confidence as we go.

Both new and experienced members are encouraged to attend as it will be a great day.
