| Location and/or Description of Trip (Itinerary): | Join us for a static camp on the Buckland River. Geoff's friends at DELWP have created a whole heap of new campsites in the Buckland Valley with facilities, so we will select one and enjoy a relaxing weekend away. Meeting at Porepunkah on Saturday morning, we will get into camp nice and early and setup for the weekend. From there, I will arrange an afternoon drive up to Mount Murray for those interested. The idea is to do not much but sit in the river for the weekend. |

| Brief directions to meeting point: | Head north to Bright and Porpunkah is 5km short of Bright. The rest area is a playground on the river that is just before the bridge and roundabout to Bright. |

| Any specific requirements? | Feel free to bring your caravan/camper. I will be heading up on the Friday, but will come back and meet the group at Porepunkah on Saturday morning. Message me if you intend on coming on Friday too. Enough food and water for 2 days in the bush. There will be drop toilets at the campsite. If you intend on going for the drive to Mount Murray, standard recovery equipment required as per the trip rules, but it is a fairly easy drive. |
