Club 4x4 Trip Notice
Trip Location
Location:Mt Buller region
Location and/or Description of Trip (Itinerary):

Exploring tracks in the Mt Buller region and visit some of the many huts in the area. Most famously, Craig’s hut.
We’ll camp at Sheepyard flat on Friday night and make our way east on Brooks Rd Saturday morning. We’ll then cut across to Refrigerator Gap and Bluff Link tr up to Bindarri Falls, which is a short walk from the car park. Depending on time, we‘ll make our way up to Craig’s Hut via Monument or Howqua Gap trail.
Arriving at Craig’s hut we’ll find a camp spot nearby first, then have dinner at Craig’s hut (no camping there), with stunning sunset views. There are tables and fire places, so bring an easy dinner. Carpark is about 30m from the fireplace and tables.
Note that camp spots are limited around Craig’s hut, so we may have to spread out a bit on a couple of sites, depending on numbers, but the plan is to spend the evening around a fire up at Craig’s hut then make our way back to the tent to sleep.
Sunday morning we’ll head out on the northern section of Circuit Road (Gravel Road) and we can do a couple of tracks on the way out or people can head straight home.
