| Location and/or Description of Trip (Itinerary): | Come join Tony on a weekend of camping and sand driving in around Little Desert NP. This is an exploratory trip so will be finding our way as we go. Friday night we’ll meet at the BP servo on the Western Highway then drive to the camp site, 4h drive. You can meet us at the camp site directly. We will have to book the camp site. Details to follow. https://maps.app.goo.gl/U9AT9aBnJbpgFT968?g_st=i Friday night will stay at will stay at Horseshoe Bend Campground. https://g.co/kgs/xMgxas Li Saturday morning will head into Little Desert and explore sand tracks and have lunch at Salt Lake. Then make our way to Stans Camp where will camp for the night. There are no toilet facilities at Stans Camp. Sunday morning we will head out via Broughton Water Hole and Mt Turner. Will finish up the trip at Edenhope around lunch. From here it’s approx 4 hours drive back to Melbourne. |
