Join Ian and Club 4×4 in a relaxing and peaceful weekend to Top Crossing Hut. As the title suggests, if you wish to go for day trips out from camp, feel free to do so; conversely, if you feel like lounging around taking in the scenery, this is appropriate too. There are always plenty of fish to catch not too far away at Lake William Hovell as well.
Itinerary
Departing on Friday evening, the plan will be to meet at Mansfield then venture into Top Crossing Hut, crossing the King River a few times before getting into the secluded campsite. From there, it is make it up as you go, the relaxing the better.

The trip will be a little bit of 4wding in and out but mainly relaxing. Friday night we'll drive 50mins from Lake William Hovell car park to Top Crossing Hut. There are drop toilets at Top Crossing Hut. |
