Any specific requirements?

This is a remote outback trip so you will have to be fully self-sufficient for around 10 days of food, and 6 days of water. Each crossing will be around 600km each way. Fuel is available at both Birdsville and Mt Dare. Conditions can change very quickly even in the desert so we will need to be prepared. Full vehicle recovery equipment will be required. A 2” lifted vehicle is highly recommended. Good quality tyres are also a plus. Vehicle spare parts and tyre repair kits should also be carried.

Additional Comments:

I completed this trip a year ago and it was a great trip. I wished we could have done the other crossings. Now's the chance to go over one way and back a different way.

We will have a trip meeting closer to the date so we can plan for the trip. Permits will be required and have to be pre purchased. An SA Desert Parks Pass will be required: SA Desert Parks Pass
