Snowy River Ramble – Dec 2017

Join Geoff and Club 4×4 for a post Christmas run through the Alpine National Park Snowy River region. This will be a scenic trip with a few day trips thrown in.

Bookings will likely close on the 21st December for this trip due to Christmas!

Location and/or Description of Trip (Itinerary):

It's time for a post Xmas run through the Alpine National Park through the Snowy River region.

The plan is to travel north from Orbost down the Deddick Tk to McKillops Bridge (we'll be here one or two night's) then over to Native Dog Flat (two or three nights). This will be a scenic trip with a few day trips thrown in.

Planning to return on either the 31st Dec or 1st Jan depending on what people want to do. It's a 6.5 hr drive from Native Dog Flat to Melbourne. At this stage I'll put the 1st Jan as the end date but happy for people to leave earlier from native Dog Flat if they wish to.

Brief directions to meeting point:

Princess Hwy to Longwarry, turn off just before Sand Rd.

- Food for the week.
- While water will be readily available on our trip please carry two days worth just in case.
- All Terrain (min 50% tred left) or Mud Terrain tyres are required.
- Last fuel will be in Orbost with Fuel available in Benambra. Please contact the Trip Leader if you have any queries about distances for the trip.
