Snowy River Deddick Trail (Take 2) – Easter 2024

Heavy rain, fallen trees, closed tracks and swollen rivers curtailed Clint’s first trip to the Snowy River Region over the Xmas break, so we’re going back for a second try this Easter. Join Clint and Club 4×4 for a trip through the amazing Snowy River Region…

Club Meeting with Robert Pepper – 16th Oct 2023

For the Club Meeting on Monday 16th Oct we’re proud to have Robert Pepper attend as a special guest to talk about “Remote Communications: from Beacons to Starlink”.

Robert is an automotive journalist and keen four-wheel driver. His website Life’s too short for boring cars, YouTube Channel (Link) and Facebook Page are filled with advice and useful information. This is the second time that Robert has been to the Club, previously giving us a presentation on Electric 4WD Vehicles. We’re really pleased to have Robert back again…

The meeting proceedings will start at 7pm, but come early for dinner and a chat before hand.

Robert’s website has more articles about Remote Communications and Starlink.

Cobaw Rock Crawling – Take 2 – 21st October 2023

Join Angelo and Club 4×4 for another spring day trip heading out to Cobaw State Forest, near Lancefield.

It’s only an hour or so from home. This trip is not for the faint of heart. There are very technical sections, deep ruts and plenty of rock climbing to be had. It will require not only a great deal of concentration, but also a well set up vehicle and knowledge on how to handle these types of tracks.
